A new Chapter in our Legacy

It is a matter of immense pride and gratitude that, under the guidance of the Executive Secretary of the Catholic Board of Education, Karachi, we have successfully published our school magazine for the very first time in the history of Sts. Peter and Paul English High School.
This remarkable achievement was born from a great vision — the vision to create and publish our own school magazine. Today, that vision has become a reality.
This milestone would not have been possible without the dedication and collective effort of our entire school community. Our students, teachers, and parents collaborated wholeheartedly, working with commitment and enthusiasm to bring this dream to life. Each one contributed their best, transforming an idea into a proud accomplishment.
I extend my sincere gratitude for empowering and entrusting me to lead this historic initiative.

This is not merely a one-time achievement; it marks the beginning of a continuing tradition. The school magazine will now be published twice a year, ensuring that our voices, talents, and achievements continue to be celebrated and shared.

With gratitude and pride,

Biggest Milestone in Our School Journey

Dear Parents,

By the grace of God, our school is proud to introduce the *House System for all students from KG till Class 10* starting February 2026.

This initiative marks an important step toward holistic development and academic excellence.

Through the House System, students will actively participate in a wide range of national and international academic, cultural, sports, and leadership activities. This system will nurture teamwork, responsibility, confidence, and healthy competition from an early age.

Our school will have four houses, each representing strong values:

*Red House* Courage & Leadership
Symbolizes strength, confidence, and the courage to lead from the front.

*Blue House* Discipline & Trust
Represents calmness, loyalty, responsibility, and disciplined learning.

*Green House* Growth & Harmony
Stands for creativity, environmental awareness, and continuous growth.

*Yellow House* Wisdom & Positivity
Reflects knowledge, happiness, optimism, and intellectual brilliance.

The school will be providing House Shirts to all students.
Parents are kindly requested to meet the respective Section Head, confirm your child’s house, and book the House Shirt at the earliest.

We strongly believe that implementing the House System from KG till Class 10 will inspire students, build leadership qualities, and strengthen academic excellence, creating confident and responsible learners.

We look forward to your continued support as we take this important step together.

SCHOOL HISTORY

Sts. Peter & Paul English High School stands as one of the most esteemed and well-established educational institutions in the region. Founded in 2001 by the Catholic Archdiocese of Karachi, the school owes its inception to the visionary leadership of Rev. Fr. Nobert Mendonca and the dedicated efforts of Rev. Fr. Benjamin Shahzad.

Historically, until 1970, the current school premises housed the Mariam Bible Academy, located in Azam Basti. The Academy was subsequently relocated to a newly constructed facility on Street No. 12, Azam Town, made possible through the generous support of the local parish community and the Archdiocese of Karachi. In 1972, the Government of Pakistan nationalized the Academy, reconstituting it as Mariam School and expanding its curriculum to include classes from Grade V to VIII. In 1996, Mariam High School was denationalized and formally returned to the Catholic Board of Education, Karachi.

At that time, Rev. Fr. Benjamin Shahzad and Archbishop Simeon Pereira took an active interest in the school’s revival. Under their stewardship, the school infrastructure was significantly upgraded to accommodate both Primary and Secondary sections. By 1998, Mariam High School had experienced substantial growth in student enrollment and fulfilled the criteria for affiliation with the Board of Secondary Education Karachi. The school was officially registered on January 15, 1998.

Recognizing the lack of a quality English-medium Catholic school in the vicinity and understanding the educational challenges faced by children in the area, Rev. Fr. Nobert Mendonca spearheaded the transformation of the institution. In 2001, he led the elevation of the existing school into a comprehensive English-medium high school. Thus, Sts. Peter & Paul English High School was formally established, operating in the morning shift.

Today, the campus comprises two main buildings. The original structure, completed in 2001, currently houses the Secondary section. A second, new building was constructed between 2013 and 2014 under the visionary supervision of Rev. Fr. Saleh Diego. A pivotal figure in this expansion was Rev. Father Mario Rodrigues, who, as Deputy Administrator, played an instrumental role in the planning and execution of the new facility, Campus B. His commitment to excellence ensured that the school continued to set new benchmarks in infrastructure and academic standards.

What was once a vision and a dream to provide the best possible education to the children of this community—has now become a vibrant reality. Today, Sts. Peter & Paul English High School stands tall as the premier educational institution in the area, steadfast in its mission to deliver excellence, inclusivity, and boundless opportunity to every child it serves.
